Trump wins Washington state Republican primary

Sanders has remained steadfast in his long-shot battle with Clinton for the Democratic nomination for the November presidential election, even though he lags her in the delegate count with only a few state contests remaining.

That’s because none were at stake. The delegate will be awarded based on final vote tallies and Clinton now leads Sanders by a slim margin of about 500 votes in that district. Bernie Sanders remains in the race despite a virtually insurmountable deficit in delegates.

She answered with a terse “No” when asked by CNN’s Chris Cuomo last week whether she ever felt compelled to defend her or her husband’s honor against Trump.

While Trump said he would not necessarily push for teachers to carry guns in classrooms, he “in some cases, teachers should be able to carry guns”. The subject eventually turned to Trump, whom Sanders reminded everyone was a “bigot”, a “demagogue”, and a man with “nothing to say about the important issues facing our country”.

All of those vulnerabilities have sparked a debate over whether Trump may have to simply cede the west to the Democrats and focus on swaying rust-belt voters with his anti-establishment credentials, anti-trade, anti-Wall Street message.

By playing the gender card, Clinton has tried casting her potential general election challenger Donald Trump as a sexist, but focusing on the gender card could possibly turn off male voters, thereby helping Trump.

A mix of angry Bernie Sanders supporters and disgruntled Latino protesters disrupted a Clinton campaign event at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park on Thursday, Cinco de Mayo, forcing the former secretary of state to cut short her speech.

With this week’s fundraisers, which also included a small gathering Tuesday in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Trump gains hundreds of thousands of campaign dollars but loses his ability to accurately claim independence from donors. Sanders is aiming for an upset and airing a new ad in the state. Vince Foster killed himself because of a crippling depression made worse by the anti-Clinton witch hunts of the media, particularly Travelgate, which he particularly lamented because an aide got reprimanded (he had asked his boss to put the blame on him instead.) Starr exonerated the Clintons of the trumped-up Travelgate charges, but that was four years after Foster died.

“If there is a bubble burst, as they call it, you know you can make a lot of money”, Trump said in the audiobook.

Republicans chose to divvy up their delegates through the primary – which is why Tuesday’s contest matters.

As soon as the new First Couple arrived in Washington from Arkansas, they were beset by rumors of wrongdoing and mini ethics scandals.

Every day on cable news and elsewhere, I watch bewildered anchors, pundits and reporters announce that Trump is going to continue to campaign on Bill Clinton’s real and fabricated misdeeds, as though they are confronting a force of nature, Hurricane Don, that they are powerless to stop. Even then, she added, it would be more of a vote against Trump.

“We have a shot to win this thing, and we are going to fight to win it”, Sanders said.

Mr Sanders has signed a letter requesting a full and complete check and re-canvass of the Democratic Party’s election results in Kentucky.

Either way, he’s vowed to keep fighting until at least the last of the primaries, in Washington, D.C., on June 14.
