Trump won’t apoligize for Kelly comment

Mr Trump has been in a defensive mode since last Thursday’s nationally broadcast Fox News debate as his rivals work to navigate a Republican presidential primary campaign that has been dominated by his bellicose statements.

During the GOP debate Kelly asked Trump about past negative statements he’s made about women, including calling women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals”.

As you can see from the second video embedded below, Trump hated being challenged like that.

Addressing what she referred to the “dustup” for the first time on her show Monday night, Kelly defended what she described as a “tough but fair question” during the debate.

In a recent interview with Media Buzz, Kelly discussed the Republican debate. The Internet is not buying it though.

Saying that Kelly asked him a “very nasty question” when she inquired if his derogatory comments about women’s looks, such as ones he’s made about comedian Rosie O’Donnell, means he’s part of the war on women, Trump said that his response was in the mainstream.

“If I had said that, it would have been inappropriate”, Trump explained in a phone interview, saying he was not suggesting the female journalist was hormonal. “And other candidates have said that”.

“I apologize when I’m wrong, but I haven’t been wrong”.

Trump spent the weekend criticizing both Kelly and Fox News in interviews and online.

“Do you think I’d make a statement like that?”

When Scarborough tried to get Trump to speak more pointedly, the candidate replied, “My whole life has been led on the theory that I do not want to embarrass people“.

“I don’t want people to be confused here about the outrageous comments by one and just say ‘we’re focused on this and we’re going to let the fact that there should be no exceptions for rape and incest go unnoticed or unmentioned, ‘” Clinton added.

“If you haven’t heard, I disinvited Donald Trump”, Erick Erickson, RedState.com editor, announced Saturday.

“I didn’t even finish the answer, because I wanted to get on the next point”. “I don’t think anything”.

Other candidates bemoaned the challenge of preaching their message when all their precious free TV time is spent being asked about Trump.

The US presidential election is scheduled for November 8, 2016. “And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far”.
