Trump Won’t Endorse Paul Ryan

The two leading Republicans seemingly angered Trump with their denunciation of his criticism of the family of a slain Muslim US soldier.

Apparently, Trump is still considering whether or not to support Ryan, having second thoughts on whether he represents the “strong leadership” required. “I’m just not ready to do that at this point. I’m not quite there yet”. “You tell me, but plenty of people have written that she was extremely quiet, and it looked like she had nothing to say”, Trump said in a recent interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.

McCain had been particularly incensed over Trump’s insults against the parents of U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, chiding Trump’s decision to “defame those who are the best among us”.

Donald Trump’s campaign chair says the candidate is in control and that reports of brewing anger over his inability to stay on message are overblown. How ironic it would be if the repayment for the Party Men’s devotion was as much contempt from Trump as they’ve drawn from #NeverTrump conservatives-or worse, if after giving one-way fealty to their party’s nominee, they lost their elections anyway.

Still, Trump’s challenge became clear in a series of odd moments Tuesday.

Trump and Ryan have had a hard and tense relationship over the past few months. On Twitter, he said, “In order to try and deflect the horror and stupidity of the Wikileakes disaster, the Dems said maybe it is Russian Federation dealing with Trump”.

Meanwhile, President Obama kept alive the controversy over Trump’s criticisms of a Gold Star family by calling him “unfit” for the White House.

Trump added, “I’m giving very serious consideration to that whole situation, to Ryan, to Paul”. “We don’t need weak people”.

Meg Whitman, the Hewlett Packard chief executive who ran in 2010 for governor of California as a Republican, also said Tuesday she would support Clinton.

Trump’s son, Eric Trump, told CBS News on Tuesday that his father’s comments toward the Khans have been “blown hugely out of proportion”. “I urge all Republicans to reject Donald Trump this November”. “Donald Trump can not be elected president”, Bradshaw said. “He should be reporting in-kind contributions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign for God sakes”.

Trump may have been seeking retribution for Ryan’s dragging his feet about endorsing Trump in May. On Monday, McCain joined in honouring the Khans. “He takes every opportunity to take a shot at Mr. Trump”. “I don’t know. You’d have to ask those guys”.
