The parliament of Turkey approved the reconciliation agreement with Israel restoring diplomatic ties after a six-year freeze. Two of the rockets hit houses in the town of Sderot and caused damages.

Sunday’s rocket attack struck the Israeli border town of Sderot in the middle of the day and disrupted what has been a quiet summer in the volatile area. But militant groups in Gaza occasionally launch rockets toward Israel.
The ministry statement added that reconciliation with Israel does not mean Turkey will remain silent in the face of such actions.
“Turkey should think twice before it criticizes the military actions of other countries”, the statement read, adding that Israel would “continue to protect innocent people from rocket fire on our turf, in accordance with global law and in accordance with our conscience and responsibility”.
Israel holds Hamas, which controls Gaza, responsible for all attacks emanating from the territory.
Palestinian officials said two people were hurt as sites belonging to Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine were hit.
“Talking to people in Israel, they still don’t trust President Erdogan, and though I think Russian Federation can see some advantages to cooperating with Turkey in certain areas, particularly in terms of terrorism against some of these jihadist groups, I don’t think Russian Federation completely trusts Erdogan either”, Jenkins said.
It was followed by a massive government crackdown on alleged coup sympathisers which has drawn European Union criticism that it may violate human rights.
Israeli military said that its planes had shelled targets in northern Gaza strip.
Relations between the two countries crumbled after ten Turks on board a Turkish ship were killed when Israeli marines stormed it in May 2010 to enforce a naval blockade of the Hamas-run Gaza strip.
The Gaza strip is controlled by Hamas and they have held ceasefire with Israel since the 2014 war.
