Turkey issued a formal on Thursday for US-based preacher Fethullah Gulen after the July 15 coup attempt aimed at ousting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, state-run media reported.

The soldiers announced they had taken control of the country but after President Erdogan told his supporters to go out onto the streets to resist the coup he was able to re-establish control.
The state-run Anadolu news agency said an Istanbul court had issued the warrant for “ordering the 15 July coup attempt”.
Since the coup attempt, almost 70,000 people have been suspended or dismissed from jobs in the fields of civil service, judiciary, education, health care, the military and the media.
“If anyone among them is linked with terrorism”.
Turkish officials said they have yet to present their full case for extradition to the USA and that the discussions are ongoing.
Gulen strongly denies masterminding the coup and the movement he leads insists it is a charitable network promoting tolerant Islam.
“I have repeatedly condemned the coup attempt in Turkey and denied any knowledge or involvement”. Numerous dead were civilians.
Turkish authorities have implemented a relentless crackdown in the wake of the coup.
“It is not in our interest to do something against Turkey”.
The coup fallout risks affecting some multinational firms operating in Turkey, including delaying investment decisions.
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said that any country “standing by this person will not be a friend of Turkey”.
In order to sweeten the pill in Ankara, Nazarbayev is expected to boast about the role he and his diplomacy played in the recent rapprochement between Turkey and Russia following the downing of a Russian jetfighter by Turkey in November 2015.
Toner added, “We have received more relevant documents we are going through those, but yet to resolve”.
Germany’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the report, without giving further details.
The Turkish government accuses Gulen of being behind a failed coup last month that left more than 270 people dead.
In a statement issued Thursday, Gulen said the warrant changed neither his status nor his views.
But Gulen’s US lawyers expressed confidence that he will not be extradited, saying the Turkish government doesn’t have any evidence against their client that would satisfy the USA legal system.
Kern made the comments in a late evening newscast Wednesday. But he did not entirely dismiss them.
“We are sympathetic to the concerns of Turkish officials”.
Meanwhile, European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker on Thursday rejected Austria’s call for the EU to end membership talks with Ankara as a grave error.
“Turkey has a strong and stable government”, said Vona, who is also the head of the Hungary-Turkey Friendship Group in the Hungarian National Assembly.

The number of staff purged at Turkey’s Football Federation rose to more than 110 on Thursday, while four actors and two directors at municipal theatres in Istanbul were also suspended, according to broadcaster NTV.
