The important thing is to pursue fair management that serves the nation”, the statement said, adding it was unacceptable to suggest Erdogan was casting Hitler’s Germany in a positive light.

“Let’s do a close comparison between Hitler and Erdogan”, one person wrote on Twitter.

News obtained via the Dogan News Agency claims that the arrest was made after someone informed the police about the boy’s comments, and he was later arrested from his home in West Tekirdag province.

“What is right for Turkey is to adopt the presidential system in line with the democratic spirit”, he said in a television interview this week. “Given this, why should we put shackles on our feet [by sticking with a parliamentary system]?” It would be similar to the presidencies of the United States, Russia and Turkey.
