The final election date is expected to be announced Sunday, CNN Turk reported.

The president’s comments came two days before the constitutional 45-day deadline to form a new government expires.
Davutoğlu was made Prime Minister but main opposition party, the Kemalist Republican People’s party (CHP), vehemently opposed such a move, while equal-third-largest HDP and rightwing nationalists MHP also had insurmountable differences with the ruling party.
A coalition, a minority government and early elections were all possibilities.
Erdogan wants to create the impression that Turkey can not survive without him, Kilicdaroglu said on Friday, noting that the president seeks to satisfy his ego by means of fresh polls.
Erdogan, who last week said he wanted an election on November 1, is accused by some critics of sabotaging coalition talks and seeking a new vote to gain a majority for the AKP so it can again govern alone.
“After that, we will take our country to early elections“, Erdogan said.
Some 100 civilians and security officials have been killed over the past month in attacks Turkish officials blamed on Islamic State and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK-which Turkey and the U.S. designate as a terrorist organization.
The political uncertainty comes amid rising violence in Turkey and neighboring Iraq and Syria.
Turkey’s embattled lira plunged to a historic low against the US dollar on Thursday, breaking the ceiling of three lira to the dollar for the first time. But the President instead opted for what he called a “re-run” of the elections.
“Now all we can do is wait for an election in which the AK Party regains a single party government, then the forex rate will cool down”, said 26-year-old Omer, a small kebab restaurant manager in central Ankara.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu formally ended attempts to form the next government on Tuesday after weeks of coalition talks failed. “Now, what should be done is to update this de facto situation in the legal framework of the constitution”, In other words, Mr. Erdogan is already the executive president who decides everything – if “de facto authority” sounds an terrible lot like “illegal power grab”, that’s just a misunderstanding…

Davutoglu would have five days to form a temporary all-party government to manage the country until the election, with each of the four parties represented in proportion to its seats in Parliament.
