Yet, now things are seeming to get better for the Apple TV.
Apple has released the third beta of its OS meant for the fourth-generation Apple TV just weeks following the release of the second beta of tvOS 9.2.
You can already talk to your Apple TV using the Siri, which was added when the latest Apple TV launched in September. The new dictation feature can also be either enabled or disabled according to the users’ needs.
In the latest beta of tvOS 9.2, which is now on its third iteration, Cupertino has added dictation support to supplement your use of the keyboard in the media content stores and places that require you to enter your username or password.
I will be counting down the days to the next big release of tvOS for Apple TV. After enabling the dictation feature in Apple tvOS 9.2 beta 3, users can speak into the Siri remote. The company has been looking to bring Siri search support for Apple Music on the Apple TV.
The iPhone and iPad win a few new functions in iOS 9.3 beta 3. This should help reduce the clutter and scrolling needed to navigate your installed apps on the Apple TV home screen. tvOS 9.2 will also bring back Bluetooth keyboard support to the Apple TV so users can type text into fields using a physical keyboard. An Apple Watch-focused event is rumored to be planned for March, and assuming it actually takes place, we’ll likely see many of these new Apple TV features shown off then. The update also introduces the ability to search the App Store from anywhere in the Apple TV interface by holding the Siri button and speaking commands like “Search the App Store for Plex” or “What games are in the App Store?”

Meanwhile, other improvements in this new software version include support for Apple’s animated Live Photos, which snap both a still image along with a brief video clip simultaneously.
