In what has become something of a Black Friday tradition, USA Today wryly notes, at least two punchouts were reported in Kentucky at separate shopping malls.

NewsWest 9 was at Midland Park Mall in the middle of all the crowds.

Sabrina Rajkumar, 36, a writer from NY, started shopping with her stepmom at Macy’s at 7:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving and was just wrapping up at 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Although JCPenney stayed open throughout the night from Thanksgiving through Black Friday, the store saw very little customers as Thursday turned into Friday. But if you thought that with Black Friday 2015 gone, the deals are also over, you were really wrong.

Retail-analysis company ShopperTrak says Black Friday is still expected to be the biggest shopping day of the holiday season.

“We’re pretty excited. We had people lined up outside right before 6 a.m. waiting for the doors to open”.

“This lady stole a veggie steamer from a KID on Black Friday!”.

“People want to shop, go home and rest and go out and shop again”, Martina said. In a note he noted lighter than usual traffic in stores and more online buzz. “I’ve been here since 12 [p.m.].’ And she proceeds to attack me with the chair, pushing into my friend, knocking me over and twisting my ankle”.

It depends on how you look at it. The whole point of dealing with the long lines are the deep discounts, with some reaching up to 70 percent off. People came out pushing shopping carts with an array of items ranging from last-minute dinner additions to bulky electronic goods.
