It is understood that the children are lost in the clouds and two are suffering from hypothermia.

The rescue team is in intermittent phone contact with the children, and it has been confirmed that they do not have an adult with them.

Search teams located the missing group who had disappeared in the mountainous area in Wales amid atrocious rain and wind this afternoon.

According to multiple reports, the alarm was raised at 1pm.

Rescue teams are involved in the search for the group on the mountain range in South Wales.

The teenagers reportedly were taking part in their Duke of Edinburgh Award, a youth development challenge that typically includes community service, physical activity and an adventure.

The Coastguard helicopter from RAF St Athan was also been sent to help.

“Concern was expressed for their welfare due to the inclement weather”.
