‘Twilight’ author Stephenie Meyer is penning a show for Hulu
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer announced this morning that the studio is working with Twilight author Stephenie Meyer on The Rook, a TV series that’ll debut on Hulu at a few point in the future. This could be a lot different from how the author does it before but this excites her too much with a few good activities coming up ahead.

Daniel O’Malley’s 2012 novel deals with supernatural and mystical powers, something with which Meyer is extremely familiar. The Rook will stream on Hulu and also be available in the United Kingdom on TV. Myfanwy is employed by a British government agency that protects the United Kingdom from threats that are not of a human nature and involves the supernatural. She released a novel titled Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined, in which she swapped the genders of the lead characters. Alas, Twihards, the show is not a Twilight spin-off.

It is still a high time for vampire stories and Stephenie Meyer’s way of telling vampire stories is still ideal. She’s also an experienced film producer, having produced the last two Twilight movie adaptations (both parts of Breaking Dawn) and the subsequent adaptation of The Host.
