Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey wants you to start editing tweets
In his recent talk with Twitter users, he asked: “Following in the footsteps of Brian Chesky: what is the most essential thing you want for Twitter to improve on 2017?”

Twitter users now have no option to edit their tweets after posting them, but company CEO Jack Dorsey doesn’t rule out the possibility in the future.
What ever it may be, we feel, editing tweets is a great feature, but also, some complications as mentioned by Dorsey should be kept in mind while bringing up the feature. This time Twitter Might Allow Users to Edit Tweets Soon.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t users’ most-requested feature when Dorsey solicited suggestions about the service. Click the source link below to see the full Twitter thread and all of the suggestions users have for 2017. He added that even short edit windows between 30 seconds and five minutes aren’t really needed, since you can just delete and repost a tweet. One of the most obvious concerns of the option implies that it could lead to a huge confusion if someone edits a tweet that you had re-tweeted.
As with other live videos, on the desktop, you can click and drag the screen to rotate the camera.
Dorsey indicated that he believes both verified and non-verified users need some form of editing tweets function. Starting with abuse is smart, since it’s easily the most urgent and complex problem facing the platform, but making any progress on the other three would also be a pretty good way to get people excited about Twitter.
Dorsey’s tweet now has more than 6,000 replies with many suggestions. However, Dorsey has long admired the use of Twitter by business leaders to engage with the public. Zooming out a bit, the four most requested “themes” for Twitter encompassed abuse, editing, topics and interests, and conversations.

Instead, those arguing against the edit feature suggest users continue revising their tweets the way they already do – deleting it entirely, and rewriting the post.
