The symbol of true love “Taj Mahal” now has its own official Twitter account. It is also highly acclaimed across the world for its architectural brilliance. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav officially launched the “My Taj Mahal” twitter handle on Saturday in state capital Lucknow.
The Twitter handle was reportedly to be launched on the eve of Independence Day, but the Archaeological Survey of India of Agra Circle had delayed the proposal by the Uttar Pradesh government citing security issues.
After launching the account, the Chief Minister also shared a picture with his MP wife Dimple Yadav and son in front of Taj Mahal and hash tagged it #MyTajMemory. Twitter India had been preparing for the launch for over a week.

The handle started a campaign in which it requested Twitter users to share memories of time they had spent at the Taj Mahal, which would then be retweeted by the handle. The monument was visited by CM Akhilesh Yadav with family in February this year, and he was the first to upload a picture of his Taj moments.
