Twitter’s Night Mode turns things down a little, making the white space much darker. Night mode can be activated during all hours in case you prefer black and blue as the app’s default look. The feature is created to make it easier to browse and interact with the app in low light conditions.
Twitter announced today that the mode has begun to roll out to users. Disabling night mode reverts the screen back to the original setting.
Rolling out today – we’re bringing night mode to iOS!
Twitter for iOS is available for free on the App Store. The feature arrived for Android devices earlier this year. Twitter nabbed Falcon Pro developer Joaquim Vergès to work on its official app a year ago, as noted by The Verge. Two months after it started testing a contrast-enhancing night mode (in addition to a host of other features) on its Android app, iOS users are now welcome to join the after-dark tweet party.

Night mode marks Twitter’s biggest design change since it embraced Google’s Material Design guidelines for its Android app in June.
