Twitter launches Dashboard on iOS, a new app for managing business accounts
The 10-year-old Twitter has been facing stalled user growth and growing competition for quite some time. In a nutshell, the free tool allows you to engage with your audience and feel their pulse in terms of how they react to your products and services. The online social networking service provider has launched a standalone application: Twitter Dashboard.

Twitter has launched a new iOS app today to help businesses better manage their accounts. Overall, Twitter’s new business account managing app creates a much cleaner and more seamless way considering the consumer and business relation. The app offers a suite of tools, including customized feeds of tweets, tools for scheduling posts, access to tips on what to tweet, analytics and more. The idea is to help business owners and others working in a small business the opportunity to react and communicate with their customers quickly whether in the office or out.
This lets business owners immediately spot tweets about them and respond quickly leading to more efficient engagement. For example, explains the Twitter blog post detailing this news, Twitter might suggest to an interior designer that they retweet some of their customers’ praises, or a restaurant might tweet something special about one of their team members – like the chef and some recent recognition he or she received. The ability to see these tweets at a glance offers endless opportunities for you to connect with customers and potential customers with responses that add value.
Twitter Dashboard lets small business owners create custom feeds to easily see when and what people are saying about them. “Like and Retweet kind words from your customers”. It is the medium and small businesses who will benefit from the Dashboard and will have a chance to use analytical tools at no extra cost.
