Now the tweet appears to have been removed from Walker’s official timeline but is still visible under his account.

WASHINGTON (AP) – How excited is Scott Walker about running for president?
The embarrassing move comes three days before Walker is due to make a “big announcement” at which he will nearly certainly announce that he is seeking the Republican nomination.
Walker quickly deleted the tweet, and instead began plugging a different announcement on his Instagram page.
With less than 140 characters, Gov. Scott Walker announced Friday evening he is running for president on Twitter.
Do you support Scott Walker? But Kirsten Kukowski, a spokeswoman for the campaign, tweeted Friday that people should “stay tuned” for the governor’s announcement on Monday.
A Twitter spokesperson told The Hill that the company is “looking into today’s issue, and we’ve determined the Walker team was not at fault”.
It’s no secret that Walker will enter the 2016 presidential race in Wisconsin on Monday afternoon.
