This time, Twitter and Pac-12 Networks are teaming up to stream more than 150 university sporting events during the 2016-2017 season, the companies said.

Thursday’s announcement comes after a plethora of headaches regarding the Pac-12 Networks, now entering its fifth year.
The final roster of school-produced Olympic events for Pac-12 Plus are still in the works, but the service will feature Olympic sports such as soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, ice hockey, swimming & diving, softball, track & field, wrestling, lacrosse, tennis, and water polo, they said.
The events will also still be streamed on the PAC-12 Network.
The Pac-12 Networks’ collaboration with Twitter reflects our ongoing commitment to increasing exposure for Pac-12 universities and their live, school-produced events.
It’s a “premier streaming” partnership deal with Twitter they are calling Pac-12 Plus.
If Pac-12 fanatics want a new place to geek out on conference competition, there’s a new place to get that fix.
It was also reported that, unlike Twitter’s recent Wimbledon coverage, there will be an advertising component to the Bloomberg partnership. Earlier this year, it also partered with the National Football League to livestream a set of Thursday night games as a revenue sharing partnership.
“Twitter is one of the fast ways to find out what’s happening in global business and financial markets and to engage in the live commentary about it”, added Anthony Noto, Twitter chief financial officer.
