Twitter Was an Emotional Wreck After The Hills Anniversary Special
In the hour-long special, we learned what Lauren Conrad, Spencer Pratt and everyone else felt about their time on the show, along with what they’ve have been up to in the six years since the phenomenon’s 2010 final episode.

“If you’re gonna do reality television, tell your parents stuff, because they’re going to find out”, Conrad advised. “I still wear the same mascara, and it doesn’t run like that”.
“Sometimes when we were filming and I was really uncomfortable and didn’t want to be there, I would just leave”, Conrad recalled. Refinery29 even issued a Public Service Announcement about the matter. ‘Nice, ‘ Heidi said, while Whitney chimed in, ‘Hot’.
But the juiciest moment, in my opinion, was when Lauren addresses that her ex-boyfriend Jason (who was, let’s face it, the OG Cali-bred fuckboy) had a drinking problem.
It turns out Heidi was considered “adorable, ‘ “spunky” and “fun – she always wanted to go to the clubs, ‘ Whitney was ‘serious” while not everyone appreciated Brody, who was labeled a ‘d**k” by one un-admirer. Everything, clearly! Lauren admits she did have a crush on Brody, but it just “felt forced”; the two had “zero chemistry”. “A lot of people want to be on camera”, she said as the camera panned to an old clip of enemies Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. “MTV should care what Spencer did to me”, Lauren said during a previously unreleased audio segment – which she watched during a sit-down with her former producer Sophia Rossi. They were at the forefront of the reality show era, after all. It kills me to see you like that. In unseen footage, which aired on the special, she chatted with Heidi about her pet jellyfish and going to the VMAs.
In anticipation of all the juicy behind-the-scene secrets LC will likely divulge on the special, we’ve made a decision to revisit some of the show’s most memorable moments. “This is the most awkward thing ever!” “I really did! I never assumed anything was mine, especially in that situation”, Lauren admitted. Conrad stormed out as soon as she saw them. That was Lauren telling us “the real story”. Or the sex tape rumor. Or discuss where things stand today between her and Heidi, or explain WTF was up with Justin Bobby, or mention the logistics of them drinking on camera before they turned 21. “You know this is creepy, right?”
Lauren Conrad, photographed during the 2016 CFDA Awards in New York City, on June 6, 2016, is slated to star in a 10-year anniversary special called “The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now” on MTV.

During the episode, Conrad and her friends were at a birthday party at Les Deux nightclub (RIP) when Montag and Pratt showed up.
