In a rather odd tweet Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said the deadly shooting of National Basketball Association star Dwyane Wade’s cousin will lead to more Black people opting to vote for him.

Nykea Aldridge, 32, was killed when she was caught in crossfire while pushing a baby stroller down a South Side Chicago street Friday.
Detectives were working to establish the motive and were questioning two people of interest in the shooting Saturday.
Investigators say she was not the intended target, but are looking into the possibility that the young mother was struck as she walked near an unfolding robbery, according to a Chicago police spokesman.
Chicago Police said Aldridge was shot in the head and arm by two men outside an elementary school.
“We just ought to be extending our sympathy to the family”, Kaine said of Trump’s tweet about Aldridge, adding, “That’s the only reaction that’s appropriate right now”.
Nykea Aldridge’s famous relative, who grew up in Chicago’s south suburbs, tweeted to his almost 6 million followers about her death, saying Friday it was an “act of senseless gun violence” and posting Saturday morning that Chicago needs “more help& more hands on deck”.
This time he didn’t say “appreciate the congrats” on being right in his argument that life for African-Americans is so awful that “what the hell do you have to lose?” by voting Trump.
“This is one particular time our family wished we didn’t have to be speaking to the media about anything”, Jolinda Wade said.
