LSU senior kicker Colby Delahoussaye of New Iberia met on Monday with family members of his two friends that died in a auto accident Saturday night near Waukesha, Wisconsin.

The accident that took place at about 11:45 p.m., is still under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said Sadler lost control on the wet pavement, left the roadway and struck a tree, with the vehicle fire ensuing.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.

Sadler was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2012 and 2013 and was an Academic All-American four times, according to a statement from Michigan State.

“It was insane because I saw both of them on Saturday before I came back to UConn”, Puyol said.

Foltz was the Big Ten Punter of the Year last season and led the conference with 44.2 yards per punt.

Flames that scorched the LSU kicker’s left thigh woke him from an unconscious state, leading to his escape from Saturday night’s fiery auto crash, which left two dead.

“Tremendous individuals from what I’ve heard, and I know it’s a tough loss for those two programs”, new Rutgers coach Chris Ash said. Delahoussaye was released from the hospital and was at home, LSU confirmed in a statement. He finished his college playing career after the 2014 season. Both Sam and Mike were serving as staff here this weekend at our National Scholarship Camp in Southern Wisconsin.

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, who attended Michigan State, also paid tribute to Sadler via social media.

Puyol said he doesn’t seek out accolades and recognition for his good works, but it is gratifying to use his platform to make a difference. He was the first student-athlete at Michigan State to earn Academic All-America honors four times.

He led the Big Ten in punting a year ago at 44.2 yards per kick and ranked fifth in school history (42.6).

“The world has lost a rising star who dreamed big and was accomplishing those dreams, one after another”, Mark Dantonio said in a tweet.

According to his bio page on Husker athletics website, Foltz has been on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll five times. One person after another made it clear he was no ordinary football player. This isn’t supposed to happen to young people who have so much to live for. “I always say to try and be a light, and he truly was a light in this world”, as reported by the Detroit Free Press.

On Sunday, the team gathered at Memorial Stadium where they had a group prayer, putting their hands in the middle at the end and chanting in unison, “1, 2, 3, Sam!”
