Two Dead After Toronto Nightclub Shooting
The shootings are believed to have taken place at Muzik nightclub in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Billboard notes that the party was billed as “The official OVO fest after-party, hosted by Drake with music by Charlie B“.
Police are looking for two men but said they were not suspects.
More were then fired on the street outside.
It’s not clear whether Drake was in the club at the time of the shooting.
Kanye West and Pharrell Williams performed at OVO Fest too, and joined Will Smith in the crowds, but it’s unclear if they attended the afterparty.
According to the Associated Press, two people are in critical condition at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center after being shot in the parking lot outside the concert late Monday night.
“In fact, we called extra resources down to the area in advance, just to provide extra security”, Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly told CBC.
The victims included a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene and a man who died after being taken to hospital.
Three others were critically injured, including one “innocent bystander with no involvement in the dispute”, reported NME.
The police are continuing their investigation regarding what, exactly, occurred at Muzik, and have requested that anyone with more details reach out to Homicide, Crime Stoppers or to Toronto Police Service’s Division 14. Mr Sloly said police fired no shots. Sloly said their injuries are not life-threatening.
“This was a brazen large-scale ongoing firearm incident where our officers [and] members of the public were directly in the line of fire”.

The event doesn’t reflect well upon Muzik, which had a man shot in front of the premises during 2014…during the the OVO after-party. Our deepest condolences go out to the victims and their families, and we wish a quick recovery to those injured.
