Two Dead Babies Found In Kensington, Philadelphia
The babies, whose exact ages were unknown, had undergone autopsies before they were discovered, a coroner’s examination revealed. But, it was the smell which alerted the children to their presence the next day and this is what moved their parents to make a call to the police.

“But I know that it’s sad that these babies weren’t properly put to rest”.
“It goes back to finding out what happened, how it is that two kids came to find the bodies”, Lt. John Stanford, a police spokesman, said, referring to Kasime Crawford, 9, and his 12-year-old neighbor.
Police received information occupants of a black pickup truck with an unknown license plate were dumping trash on the highway in the vicinity of where the corpses were located.
“That’s when I looked right there, and saw two babies and thought it was baby dolls”, he said.
Jackson said he and his son noticed that the bodies were blue and had deep lacerations on their stomachs and heads.
Police responded to the scene where they met with two young witnesses, who told police they discovered the infants while walking in the area.
Jackson said that he just couldn’t imagine anyone would do something like this.
Police have released few details and are looking at footage from a security camera mounted yards from where the bodies were found.
“We just want to make sure the integrity of the investigation is protected”, Perez said. The time and manner in which the infants died also were not immediately known.

Kensington police have been trying to solve a mystery involving the death of 2 infants near a vacant parking lot. Still, Stanford said, whoever’s responsible could face criminal charges for abusing a corpse.
