O’Neal and Battle both face charges of resisting an officer without violence.

The Sheriffs’ Office said in a statement that they are searching for other “potential suspects” in connection to this case.

“We will do all we can to hold those responsible accountable”, Florida Gov. Rick Scott said. “No family should have to endure this kind of pain”, said Sylvia Bargouthi, a mother who didn’t know any of the victims. I don’t want this to happen to anybody in my state.

Lisa Sgarlata, chief administrative officer for Lee Memorial Health System, says two people are in critical condition, and two are in fair condition.

None of the other victims’ names have been released.

A Fort Myers Police Department officer saw one of the cars described, a white Chevy sedan, driving out of the parking lot and attempted to pull it over but the vehicle fled, LCSO said. The event didn’t require ID and was meant for kids between the ages of 12 and 17. On Sept. 10, 2011, at least two gunmen sprayed the crowd outside Club Elite at 704 10th St. W. Two people, Trayon Goff, 25, and Gwenette Matthews, 38, were killed and at least 22 others were injured.

“We have to all work together”, he said.

“We employ not only security that handle inside the building, but also a staff that’s only job is to literally walk up and down the lanes of the parking lot”, said Knight.

Although beer posters still hung in its windows, Club Blu’s alcohol license was revoked on June 7 because of issues related to its business records, regulators said. The shooting was not an act of terrorism, police have insisted.

State records show this wasn’t the first time violence had broken out at Club Blu. Police found two people of interest about five blocks from the crime scene where a group of cars had been pierced by gunfire.

But in an email, police Capt. Jim Mulligan says the street will remain closed as authorities investigate. “Some were shot, some were just running, some (were) calling for back up”.

A nearby home and vehicles were also shot at, resulting in one minor injury, police said in a statement.

Police in Fort Myers, Florida identified the dead as 14-year-old Sean Archilles and 18-year-old Stefan Strawder, described by local media as a star high school basketball player. The deputy then fired his handgun, shooting Church in the abdomen, officials said. His younger sister was shot in the leg. Archilles said his son loved to play football and basketball.

Syreeta Gary told WFTX-TV her daughter ran and dodged bullets to avoid being shot. “Some of his friends got shot too”.

A Facebook user calling herself Juss Olivia posted a video shortly after the shooting, saying she had been sitting in a auto across the street, near her apartment, when she heard gunfire and saw about five people “spraying nonstop, running and shooting”. “They can’t enjoy themselves”.
