Two injured in shooting in Spanish city of Zaragoza

The shooting is believed to have taken place around 11.00am local time close to the Aragonia shopping centre, in the city of Zaragoza.

According to police sources in Aragon, an individual fired from a auto at people near the Aragonia shopping complex before fleeing, reports El Pais.

According to El Heraldo, the daughter, who was driving the vehicle, was not hit by any of the shots but the mother.

He then tried to kill himself, Spanish media said.

The daughter is not thought to have suffered any injuries.

Police say it appears it is a case of domestic violence, as the aggressor and the victim had recently separated.

A bartender told Reuters he heard shots outside the bar and then saw a man with a gun in his hand lying on the ground.
