Two Israelis shot, wounded at Hebron holy site
Elsewhere Friday, a Palestinian stabbed and seriously wounded an Israeli outside a supermarket at a West Bank settlement. Israeli forces have shot dead at least 70 Palestinians, including 42 who Israel says were carrying out or about to carry out attacks.

The videos come amid a wave of Palestinian stabbing attacks, and as top Israeli politicians and security commanders have encouraged forces to shoot to kill suspected assailants.
The walled compound in Jerusalem, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary, is a frequent flashpoint and its fate is a core issue at the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Israeli soldiers shot dead a 73-year-old Palestinian woman in the West Bank city of Hebron on Friday, while she was on her way to her sister’s house for lunch, her son said.
In the first incident, the army said a Palestinian attempted to ram Israeli soldiers with a vehicle in Hebron and was shot by troops.
He was shot east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip during clashes in the area.
Later Friday, three Israelis were wounded, one of them severely, in two separate shooting attacks in the Hebron area. Failing that, she said, the newspaper will appeal the decision at the Palestinian high court of justice.
There were also sporadic clashes in Hebron following the weekly Friday Muslim prayers, Palestinians said, where one protestor was wounded by in the head by a rubber bullet. The 16-year-old was seriously hurt when he was hit by gunfire in the upper body, while the 18-year-old sustained light injuries.
In a letter to British Ambassador Matthew Rycroft, president of the UN Security Council this month, the chief Palestinian delegate at the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, described what he said was the alleged harvesting of body parts of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces.
Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Tel Aviv regime forces, reportedly attacked Palestinian homes near the mosque with rocks.
Eleven Israelis have been killed in stabbings, shootings or other attacks during the period. “If she had wanted to take revenge (for her husband’s death), she could have done that a long time ago”, Sharawi said. Palestinians say the violence is due to a lack of hope for gaining independence after years of failed peace efforts.

In Hebron, a further 15 Palestinians were wounded in clashes, as security forces used live ammunition and tear gas. But the Palestinians said Israel would use the cameras to spy on and arrest people.
