The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement on November 13 that it had suffered no casualties among its soldiers in the incident that took place near the contact line dividing Azerbaijan proper and its breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia’s deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan has accused today Azerbaijan of obstructing the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict writing in his Twitter microblog that the latest provocations of Baku once again prove that the global recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has no alternative.
