An adorable two-legged puppy is now more mobile than ever thanks to his 3-D printed wheelchair.

The six-week-old terrier-beagle mix, who was born without front legs, is no stranger to slipping and falling.

Using a 3-D printer, a two-wheeled cart was built for Tumbles.

The tiny pup is learning to use his new “legs”, and while he has a long road ahead of him, he’s proved to be a “happy and willing patient”. That’s when his family chose to bring him to OH animal shelter Friends of the Shelter Dogs. The Centre will try Tumbles on a new design with smaller training wheels next week to aid the process.

‘Our main goal [was] to get him off the ground.

‘Everyone is real enthusiastic, ‘ Joe Jollick, lab director for the innovation center, told ABC.

The wheelchair took about 14 hours to be printed. We thought he wouldn’t make it’.

Pilcher said she and Tumbles are up to the task. “We are thrilled for Tumbles and the interest and joy he is bringing to others”, she said.

“This is just letting people know that [3D printing] can be used for just about anything”, Dr Jollick said.

As of now, Tumbles is not up for adoption.
