Two more Palestinians killed in fresh attacks
Ahmed Manasra, 13, and his 15-year-old cousin, Hassan, are said to have stabbed and seriously wounded the two in east Jerusalem last month.

The security guard was moderately wounded in the attack Tuesday in the Pisgat Zeev neighborhood.
The guards shot at him and wounded him critically, and the Hadassah Har Hatzofim hospital in Jerusalem announced his death a short while after his hospitalization.
In one incident, a Palestinian carried out a knife attack at the Damascus Gate, the main entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City, and was “neutralised”, police said.
On Monday, Israeli security forces shot and killed a Palestinian woman at a West Bank checkpoint after she reportedly pulled a knife in an attempt to stab guards.
The Palestinian arrived at the Kiosk check point near Bethlehem in the West Bank and caused border guards to look at him with suspicion, a police spokesperson said.
Manasra’s case became a lightning rod for both sides in the Israeli-Palestinian divide after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas erroneously claimed in a televised speech that Israelis had “summarily executed” Ahmed.
Palestinians are angry at increasing violence by Israeli settlers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and their attacks on Palestinian properties, saying that the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of the compound. Israel Radio said passengers helped overcome the boys.
For their part, Palestinians were enraged by video that surfaced on social media showing Ahmed lying in the street, his head bloodied as bystanders curse him and shout “Die!” in Hebrew. Numerous Palestinians killed were alleged attackers. The video made no mention of the preceding attack.
Twelve Israelis were killed in lone wolf attacks by Palestinians in the form of stabbing, shooting and vehicular attacks since the beginning of October. The other Palestinians were killed in clashes between stone throwers and security forces.
Israelis were shocked by a separate security camera video that appeared to show the two young cousins wielding knives and chasing a man, and later stabbing an Israeli boy as he got on his bicycle outside a shop after buying candy. One of the officers shouts at Ahmed, “Is this you, this person?” as the teen cries and says he doesn’t remember.

Attorney Lea Tsemel, who is representing Ahmed, said she may contest the investigation based on the manner of questioning seen in the video. Police said the other was taken into custody.
