With this price-cut, Sony PlayStation loyalists should now be able to avail a 1TB edition of the PS4 for Rs 33,000, Rs 5,000 down from the earlier pricing of Rs 38,000.

“Just to confirm: Farming Simulator17 mod support on both Xbox One AND PS4 will be available when the game comes out”, the developer posted on the official Twitter account of the game.

That’s because while your original PS4 – the actual original or the new slimmer model – does indeed support HDR from today, now there’s nothing you can run on it that makes use of the tech. This is obviously to prepare for the arrival of the PS4 Pro.

What do you think of the new layout of the PS4? It should be noted that the PS4 Pro is not powerful enough to run most big budget games at native 4k and utilises a checkerboard rendering technique for this goal.

Only 1 person is working on enhancing Days Gone for PS4 Pro, according to a new video report by Digital Foundry, and just 2 on inFamous: Second Son and inFamous: First Light.

While the majority of our eyes-on demos focused on HDR-specific features, we did spy some of the enhanced detail the PS4 Pro’s 4K compatibility brings to the table. Meanwhile, the PS4 Pro, initially announced under the codename Neo, will play games at a 4K resolution as well as improve the quality of the PlayStation VR.

We also witnessed “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” – arguably this generation’s most gorgeous console game – somehow become even more stunning with the help of a similar HDR patch. The PS4 Pro also has an AMD Radeon-based graphics engine with 4.20 teraflops of processing power, and 8 GB of GDDR5 random access memory (RAM).

However, one upgrade that is coming to the entire range of PS4s along with the PS4 Slim is HDR support. In comparison to the original PS4, the PS4 Slim is 30% smaller, with the power consumption decreased by 28%, and weighs 16% lighter than before.

Sony has officially released Firmware 4.00 for its PlayStation 4 console, bringing high dynamic range (HDR) rendering and a raft of additional features to existing consoles ahead of the PlayStation 4 Pro’s launch. That’s quite a bit fewer than you had probably been expecting. That’s a great value for gamers who haven’t joined the PS4 community, yet.

Now, the real question is do you go with Sony or wait until the 2017 holiday season for Xbox Project Scorpio?
