Two Palestinians Killed by Israelis in West Bank

The statement said all children captured by Israeli troops were subjected to different types of torture and forced to make confession through physical and verbal coercion.

“This is not terrorism by organisations”, he said at the start of a cabinet meeting.

“This is terrorism by individuals, occasionally with kitchen knives, who are incited mainly by social media. It is very hard to hermetically prevent the arrival of such knife-wielding, or other, terrorists to this or that place”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended citizens for being on “maximum alert”.

A statement issued by the military said the station was shut down and broadcast equipment was confiscated because it had “repeatedly broadcast content which promotes and encourages terror and acts of violence against Israeli civilians and security forces”.

A senior U.S. official said Kerry would discuss ways of trying to stem the violence but would not try to renewed negotiations on a state that Palestinians seek in territories Israel captured in the 1967 Middle East war. A 13-year old girl was among the injured.

Almost 90 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the start of October – many shot dead under circumstances in which rights groups said that Israeli forces used unnecessary force – while at least 16 Israelis have been killed in the same period.

In the occupied West Bank, tensions were high Saturday as Israeli forces clashed with Palestinian protesters near the town of Dayr Samet, west of Hebron.

There has been a wave of violence over the past two months, leaving dozens dead.

The army did not confirm who the alleged attacker was targeting.

“Second attack today. Shots fired at Alon Shvut Junction, suspect fled the scene and rammed his vehicle into pedestrians at Gush Etzion”, said Peter Lerner, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
