Two Palestinians ram cars into Israeli soldiers, shot dead
Two Palestinians have rammed their cars into Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank, injuring seven, before both assailants were killed, raising this week’s Palestinian death toll to 10.

The decision was made in line with a cabinet resolution on Thursday mandating that the army hermetically seal any Palestinian area for the purposes of preventing an anticipated attack on Israelis. Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in that incident, Israeli police and military said.
Police identified him as Fadi Hassib, from Ramallah, whose brother was shot dead on Sunday after ramming his auto into Israelis before charging at them with a knife. No Israelis were hurt in that attack, Samri added. Almost-daily Palestinian stabbings, vehicle rammings and shootings, have killed 19 Israelis and one UScitizen since October 1 and Israeli forces have killed 92 Palestinians, some of whom were carrying out assaults and others in clashes with police and troops.
A wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence that began more than eight weeks ago has shown no end in sight. At least 93 Palestinians have also died, including 58 said by Israel to be attackers.
Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon told Israelis to be prepared for more attacks by Palestinians.
Times of Israel reported that it remains unknown if the majority of the PLO Palestine National Council is in favour of cancelling Israel’s recognition, as some fear that this will escalate even more the tension between the two sides. Egypt is now struggling to put down an Islamic insurgency in the volatile north of its Sinai Peninsula, which borders Israel.
Earlier this week, Israel started barring thousands of Palestinian workers from reaching their workplaces in Gush Etzion, a bloc of Israeli settlements between Jerusalem and Hebron, in light of the security situation. The military said the buses were meant to ferry Palestinians to checkpoints for demonstrations.
