Craig Kimbrel came out for the 9th inning and while he got the save, he sure did it in dramatic fashion.

The game was a makeup of an April 7 postponement caused by snow and cold.

YANKEES 1, BLUE JAYS 0: Chad Green struck out 11 in six dominant innings, Aaron Judge delivered again with an RBI double and Dellin Betances escaped a big ninth-inning jam, leading NY over Toronto. He allowed a lead off double to Andrew Benintendi.

The Orioles followed up a five-game winning streak in late July with a 5-10 slump over the team’s next 15 games.

Boston trails AL East-leading Toronto by 1½ games and leads for the league’s second wild card. It looked like the Indians were poised to walk off, but the Kimbrel hunkered down, struck out the next two batters and then got the 3rd and final out by walk of a fly out.

The Tigers lost Miguel Cabrera after four innings to a strained left biceps. The ideal hit and run annoyingly executed. Three relievers finished, with Kelvin Herrera pitching the ninth for his fifth save. The Sox were now leading 3-1.

J.D. Martinez homered for Detroit. With this home run, Betts passed Ortiz to lead all Red Sox hitters in home runs. Betts hit the next pitch over the left-field wall. This was Betts’ seventh homer at Camden Yards as he accounted for all five runs the Red Sox scored to this point in the game.

In Arlington, Texas, Adrian Beltre hit a grand slam not long after the Rangers ended a 24-inning scoreless streak. Wright, who is 13-5 with a 3.01 ERA, suffered the injury while pinch-running during in a game against the Dodgers on August 7.

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez delivers a pitch during the fourth inning of a baseball game against the Baltimore Orioles, Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, in Baltimore. Sammy Solis (2-3) got the win. The stretch is the longest in the majors this season and ties Ryan Zimmerman for the Nationals record. Adam Jones has 126 hits with 70 runs and 70 RBI with 23 homers.

Jordan Lyles (3-4) took the loss. New York’s Chad Green struck out 11 in six dominant innings. He will miss the first three games on the Red Sox’s 11-game trip.

Bartolo Colon (10-7) drew the first walk of his 19-year major league career but lasted just four innings. Barnes retired Machado for the first out of the inning, but he would not get another out in the inning. Was trying to go away and out, it was just a bad pitch.

Paul Goldschmidt had three hits, including a triple and a double. Yasmany Tomas hit a two-run homer in the eighth.

Gallardo loaded the bases in the third with two outs. Last in the AL West, Los Angeles (49-69) is a season-high 20 games under.500.

The last time the team dropped 11 in a row was during the 1999 season. In the first inning, Rodriguez got the Orioles in order mixing in a strikeout to Jonathan Schoop.

Tampa Bay’s Drew Smyly allowed just one hit over seven innings to guide the Rays past San Diego 8-2.
