Two shot at Texas Southern University
The school lifted the lockdown on Friday afternoon and said the shooting suspect remains at large and that police have taken two people of interest into custody.

TSU’s president said the shooting may have been the result of an argument.
Houston police spokeswoman Jodi Silva says the other person who was shot is hospitalized in stable condition. On Thursday night around midnight, someone fired a gun into a crowd near the same housing complex where today’s shooting took place. Refresh this page for updates as they become available. Details of the person injuries and condition were not released, but officials said the person was alive the following morning.
The shooting was reported around 11:30 a.m.at University Courtyard Apartments, a student-housing apartment complex on the edge of campus. Houston Police confirmed online that one victim had died.
A TSU university spokesperson said It is not clear if the incidents are related. TSU Police are still looking for that suspect, identified is Darios Tramain Crayton Scott, 19. Darrius Nichols, 20, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in that case.
