And if that wasn’t enough to ice the cake, the gaming giant is also releasing a wireless adapter for DualShock 4 controllers for PC and Mac. The adapter will set you back $24.99 (around Rs 1,700) and will allow you to connect one wireless DS4 controller to your PC. Now, Sony has announced it is bringing the service to Windows PCs, opening an expansive library of titles – many of them heretofore exclusive to PlayStation hardware – to a huge new audience. We may even get some PS4 games in the future. Sony noted that you will need a minimum 5Mbps Internet connection to be able to run PS Now. It will also be handy while using PS4 Remote Play, which allows playing of the 400-games on the game streaming service on both the Windows and Mac PCs over the local network connection. As you may recall, Microsoft revealed that they are working on Project Scorpio during its press conference while Sony confirmed that the PlayStation 4 NEO was real in the same week.

If nothing else, this is a big win for PC gamers who have had to live in a world that puts increasingly little effort into porting console games to their platform. It’s different than PlayStation Plus, a paid PlayStation Network subscription service that provides users with access to premium features like beta trials and discounts. The full list of Playstation 3 games is provided by the PC Gamer. Two-factor support is not available when logging on to older PlayStation systems, so Sony recommends you generate a “device setup password” to help protect the PS3, Vita, or PSP. The rumored console will reportedly ship alongside an upgraded DualShock 4 controller, featuring an additional light bar across the top of the touchpad. This also doesn’t have to be played with the upcoming PS Now app either.

However, the price hike has been reported to only affect gamers in the US and Canada with Express citing that gamers in the United Kingdom and European Union have been assured that they would not see a price increase on the PlayStation Plus Free Games in September.
