Prior to being arrested, Chaney had been suspicious of the undercover agent saying “It just sounds like, it sounds like ATF to me”. The feds monitored a meeting at Doyle’s Chesterfield, Va. home on September 27, during which they believe he and others who ascribe to “a white supremacy extremist version of the Asatru faith” plotted attacks on houses of worship.

Attorneys for the defendants did not immediately return telephone messages Tuesday.
According to the Washington Post, the two men were plotting the “shooting or bombing the occupants of black churches and Jewish synagogues” and “conducting acts of violence against persons of the Jewish faith”.
The scene outside of Doyle’s home on Candlelamp Lane in Chesterfield, Virginia. Inside Doyle’s Toyota Tundra, the Federal Bureau of Investigation found ammunition for a. 45 handgun – a fit for one of the guns Chaney had tried to buy, officials said.
After numerous meetings and discussions, the suspects were taken into custody Sunday. They attempted to buy weapons, and they were arrested this week on charges of trying to possess guns after having been convicted of a felony, reported the Post. Doyle was arrested later in the day, court documents said.
But after the first meeting with the agent on October 25, both men apparently felt better, ordering an automatic weapon, explosives and a pistol with silencer for delivery at a later date.
