Ty Lawson to be suspended two games
The Houston Rockets are committed to point guard Ty Lawson, but his representatives are investigating his trade value with other teams, according to multiple sources.

According to 9News.com’s Allison Sylte, Lawson pleaded guilty on November 19 to driving while impaired and failure to drive in a single lane after he was arrested on January 23.
Rockets point guard Ty Lawson will be suspended two games for DWI offenses that occurred earlier this year in Colorado, the league announced Friday. The suspension starts Saturday when the Rockets take on the Los Angeles Clippers. Lawson has struggled to find a way to play off the ball with James Harden also on the floor.
Houston sent Denver four players and two draft picks for Lawson. Bickerstaff said the team believes in Lawson and is committed to using players who perform the best off the bench.
After a recent resolution in his court case for a DUI charge in 2014, the National Basketball Association plans to suspend Lawson for two games as soon as Friday, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Lawson, 28, has dropped to career lows in virtually every offensive category, averaging 5.9 points and 4.2 assists in 25 minutes a game with Houston.

Following his July arrest, Lawson was ordered to spend a month in a residential treatment facility to address his drinking problem.
