Tyler Seguin Brings Birthday Girl To Tears After Tossing Her Puck

The talented center, banished to Dallas in July 2013 after three years in Boston, posted the seventh hat trick of his career to power the Stars to a 5-3 victory over the Bruins.

Before the hat-trick, Seguin made a 16-year-old girl cry by tossing her a puck to make her 16th birthday the most memorable night of her life. But on Tuesday, he made the left circle his office once again, as he blasted in two power play goals and helped the Stars go 3-for-4 with the man advantage. “Obviously it’s going to be really hard for Tuukks to stop those kind of shots”. “We definitely got to be a lot better”.

Loui Eriksson scored twice for Boston, cutting Dallas’ lead to 5-3 with 2:15 left to play.

The blast from Miller, whom the Bruins acquired when they traded Milan Lucic to Los Angeles, tied the game 1-1 after Tyler Seguin had given Dallas an early lead.

“I find sometimes when you’re getting booed it makes you play better”, said Seguin, who won a Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011.

Kelly grabbed his left leg after going down in front of the Bruins’ bench and stayed down on the ice for several minutes before being helped to the locker room. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he will have surgery Wednesday. An average of just two shots per game and a 44.4% shooting percentage begs the question of whether or not there isn’t a bit of puck luck on Shore’s side that could run out soon or won’t translate well to the National Hockey League level.

The Dallas Stars recalled forward Devin Shore from the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League on Sunday. Seguin extended his points streak to six games.
