The hip-hop star had been scheduled to play dates in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney during September. He added, “I love my fans there and hopefully I’ll be back soon”. Collective Shout lobbied immigration Minister Peter Dutton to refuse him entry, citing lyrics about “rape and extreme violence against women”.

Albeit no particular reason was given for the wiping out (he was relied upon to perform four dates), Tyler confronted overwhelming feedback from the gathering Collective Shout, which depicts itself as a “grassroots battling development against the typification of ladies and sexualization of young ladies in media, promoting and pop culture”. “Don’t do drugs”, Tyler said in the statement.

The tour was due to kick off next month but was placed under scrutiny recently, with Tyler himself announcing that he has been “banned” from entering the country.

At the time, triple j determined the Immigration Department had not denied Tyler a visa, though a spokesperson confirmed that “no decision has yet been made” on his application. If you purchased tickets at a Ticketmaster outlet using cash or EFTPOS, you’ll need return along with your tickets and the EFTPOS card used to make the booking, if applicable.

Frontier Touring apologised to fans and said ticketholders will automatically get refunds from Ticketmaster. All ticket holders will be offered full refunds.
