This past August, Banks waxed enthusiastic about returning to the daytime talk-show grind, during a TCA Q&A.
Banks will remain as executive producer through December on FABLife, which focuses on topics such as fashion, beauty, and food. Banks worked with Hackner when she was at Telepictures overseeing Tyra. Ken Mok, the show runner an executive producer, is reportedly on board, and Deadline reports Banks is lending her support and will likely continue as an executive producer. So, when Tyra ended, I said, “I’m done with talk”.
“It just wasn’t a healthy thing for me”, she said at TCA.
The announcement comes less than a month after the CW canceled Banks’ long-running “America’s Next Top Model” after 22 seasons.
