This is something new from her considering that she’s been teaching men and women how to pose and smize onAmerica’s Next Top Model for so long.

Supermodel Tyra Banks will be a guest lecturer at Stanford University for a Master of Business Administration class.

For two weeks Banks will lecture – alongside Stanford lecturer and former TV exec Allison Kluger – the students on how to use traditional and social media to their advantage. While students will receive (no doubt entertaining) instruction on building their own brands, they will also be enlisted to help build Tyra’s. “It’s in my blood and I can’t wait to meet my students”, she wrote.

She added: “Class is in session (in 2017). And that means no phones allowed, well, that is unless as Tyra states, you ‘tweet something I’ve said”. No, it won’t be a beginners course in smizing but a class on the “art of personal branding”.

In the next few months, Kluger and Banks will work together to develop the details for the course.

Banks told WSJ she plans to have a strict teaching style.

Supermodel Tyra Banks, known for her ruthless critiques on reality show America’s Next Top Model, is taking her instructional tough talk from the runway to the classroom.

Students better come prepared for the model’s class because she won’t be playing around.

Banks, however, built a business, and – unlike Wilhelmina or peer Cindy Crawford, who has an empire of makeup and furniture – she’s made her business the business of being Tyra Banks.
