Tyson Fury shocks Wladimir Klitschko to take world heavyweight title
Fury shocked the world as he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko with a unanimous points victory in Dusseldorf on Saturday night.

Klitschko managed to get close with a few good left jabs in the second round but Fury landed a powerful right, pushing the Ukrainian back. Without control, Dr. Steelhammer offered next to nothing.
Does he have to give Wladimir Klitschko a re-match?
He then burst into a rendition of Aerosmith’s hit song I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, dedicating it to his wife and his fans in the UK, Ireland, the USA and Germany.
Fury constantly tried to unsettle Klitschko during the build up to the fight, with posts on Twitter and comments to the press about how he was going to crush Klitschko. “Let’s laugh at his name, shall we?” the champion said.
It wasn’t just by being the first man for 11 years to beat Wladimir Klitschko that Tyson Fury proved he is far from being a typical heavyweight.
Kell Brook, the IBF welterweight champion, tweeted: “Just heard, WOW congratulations to @Tyson_Fury I had kilt to win I hold my hands up! well done unbelievable for British boxing!”. I have lived in Ireland, visited all my life and when I fight I represent Ireland. I feel good, not too sore, a little bit around the eyes and pain inside of my head, but not too bad to be honest after a 12-round fight with the so-called best fighter on the planet. I didn’t believe he would make it but I lacked in speed today.
Fury regularly spoke about his desire to end Klitschko’s time at the top during the build-up to the fight and had promised to emulate Muhammad Ali by adding extra entertainment to the sport.
“You’re a great champion Vlad, thanks very much for having me”, said Fury, moments after his win was announced. When I say pedophiles could be made legal, it sounds insane. The IBF super bantamweight champion was quick to congratulate Fury on beating an icon of the sport on Twitter.
One of Britain’s former world heavyweight champions, Lennox Lewis, believes he may need to modify his behaviour to assume the responsibility that comes with the title. However he may not want his limp, half hearted showing last night to be his last experience in the ring and might have one final performance in him. What’s most appealing about Fury is not his skill, although he has that, but his outspoken demeanor.

The unbeaten Traveller (24-0,18KOs) had even claimed the bout against the hugely experienced Klitschko (64-3,53KOs) would be “an easy fight”, but he obviously started a heavy underdog.
