Tyson Fury won’t face police action over hate crime allegations

“It’s the panel who decided the list and I think the best thing I can do is stay on that list and represent my performances this year”, she said. One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia. “I am ashamed to work for the BBC when it lacks bravery to admit it is making a mistake”. “Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?”

Jessica Ennis-Hill has shrugged off Tyson Fury’s recent comments over her looks and insists she is still looking forward to the Sports Personality of the Year awards show.

Fury said he is not homophobic and does not have “any hate for anybody”. “I was actually quite surprised at how much agreement there seemed to be”, he told the Guardian.

“Tyson Fury comes from a traveller community … they have a moral code that is remarkably strong – no sex before marriage, they’re totally opposed to abortion, and they believe homosexuality is wrong”.

“It would have capped another fine year for the sport which continues to deliver at every level, from increased participation at the grassroots to elite success in both Olympic-style boxing (formerly known as amateur boxing) and the professional ranks”. Young people need sports personalities that they can look up to not people who express outrageous homophobic views, which can cause bullying and self-harm.

He added: “I don’t agree with everything that some people say”.

“In an opinion piece for the website gaystarnews, the organisation – which has no jurisdiction over Fury – wrote: “[Fury’s] comments were crass and unpleasant and it is completely understandable that so many people have been offended by them.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) received a criminal complaint from a member of the public earlier this week after remarks made by Fury were made on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme.

Undefeated Fury stunned the boxing world by beating the favourite Wladimir Klitschko in November. Please, if you can, share the petition on social media and encourage your friends to sign.
