U.S. election 2016: Donald Trump to lay out economic agenda
She is expected to speak to the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday.

Clinton has had a fairly consistent lead over Trump in national polls. This will lead to millions of new and really good paying jobs. “For many American workers their tax rate will be zero”, says Trump. He is also calling for eliminating the estate tax and a temporary moratorium on new regulations.
In a new proposal, Trump called for allowing parents to fully deduct the average cost of child care from their taxable income.
Moore explained how because Trump’s plan includes the closing of loopholes, the “rich” will wouldn’t be getting a tax cut despite the lowering of the rate from almost 40% to 33%. “So for Mike Morell to stand here and apologize in a way and to talk about Donald Trump, I just think that it’s wrong”.
Details of his speech were released in advance to journalists.
Because Trump’s plan is structured as a tax deduction, rather than a tax credit, it would primarily help more affluent households.
In his speech Monday, Trump also said he would reduce the corporate and federal income tax rates, as reported by The New York Times. That’s a departure from the plan Trump unveiled last fall during the GOP primary that envisioned four brackets and a top rate of 25 percent.
“We now begin a great national conversation about economic renewal for America”, Trump said. The plan, they said, dramatically favored the wealthy over the middle class and would increase the debt by as much as $10 trillion over the next decade.
“Among white women with a college degree, though, Trump is actually trailing Clinton by 30 points (27% to 57%)”.
Trump himself noted the protests seemed well planned. But he has not directly addressed any of the protesters or demanded they be removed as he has at previous events.
“Look at what she has said, just even recently in this whole issue, with trying to walk away from what she did with our nation’s security”, said Flynn. He called her “the candidate of the past”.
Trump is speaking in Detroit, a city that is a symbol of the country’s manufacturing decline.
On Monday, Trump waited for the frequent disruptions by protesters to end, smiling and refraining from his practice at campaign rallies of asking security to “get them out of here”. With a speech Monday, Aug. 8, to the prestigious Detroit Economic Club, Trump seeks to reset his campaign and delve into a subject – the economy – that is seen as one of his strengths. One woman, before she was escorted out, chanted “tiny hands, tiny hands”, as the mogul frowned uncomfortably. He added at one point, “I will say, the Bernie Sanders people had far more energy and spirit”.

Trump said he wants to simplify the tax code, which now has seven tax brackets, to three: 12 percent, 25 percent and 33 percent of income after deductions.
