It will see 100 people recruited in areas including sales, marketing and customer support over the next three years, with hiring already under way.

In terms of food technology, safety and sustainability, Enterprise Ireland (the government agency in Ireland responsible for supporting Irish businesses) has invested €140 million in various projects over the last four years, including R&D and job creation.

Glassdoor describes its recruitment system as “give-to-get” whereby it offers free access to all its data once a user contributes their own content, such as a salary report. The account also allows employers to respond to their company’s reviews and flag any reviews that may be inappropriate and post real-time updates on their profile pages. This expansion comes as Glassdoor surpasses 10 million employee-provided reviews, ratings, salary reports and other workplace insights for more than 445,000 companies around the globe. In addition, nearly 3,000 companies across North America and Europe are Glassdoor clients taking advantage of the company’s job advertising, employer branding and display advertising products.

It has 34 million registered users in 190 countries around the globe and eight country-specific websites.

The company was set up in 2008 and has raised $160m from investors.
