Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has called for the return of waterboarding, a near-drowning interrogation technique widely denounced as torture, saying it was “peanuts” compared to what Islamic State is doing. I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down – as those buildings came down. 10,000 people and this guy started screaming by himself, and I don’t know.

In response, Trump yelled, “Get him the hell out of here” and the crowd of 3,000 started cheering before booing the protesters. He was kicked in the stomach, and the chest, both men and women.

In August, Black Lives Matters protesters commandeered the podium at a Seattle rally where Sanders was scheduled to speak. Southall and two other activists entered Trump’s rally at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex with tickets. “Several attendees at the rally punched and kicked a protester who tried to disrupt Trump’s speech”, CNN wrote. “I got enough people off of me that I was able to get up a little bit, ” he said.

Trump also mentioned when a campaign rally for Democratic presidential candidate Sen.

It is unlikely Trump could see the confrontation unfold from his vantage point on the stage, but was reacting to the apparent presence of protesters. “Somebody like Jeb, and others that are running against me – and by the way Hillary is another one”, he said.

When asked if he wants blanket surveillance across all the nation’s mosques, Trump said “strong measures” are necessary.

Eventually, campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks told CNN, “The campaign does not condone this behavior”.

Trump added that he wants to instate a database for tracking refugees for coming into the country. Birmingham Police Lt. Sean Edwards, the department’s public information officer, said in a statement that Southall did not ask to press charges and did not require medical attention.

Trump also sought to clarify his comments on using a database to track Muslims in America for the second straight day.
