Walsh Jennings, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and former Stanford star, had never lost a match in the Summer Games.

Aly Raisman and Kerri Walsh-Jennings and April Ross will compete in prime time coverage as well.

Ross said she has enjoyed the way athletes from different sports meet and root for each other. At 37, Walsh Jennings is both a world-class athlete and a busy parent. “It’s in me every single day”, she said.

April is a victor in her own right as she previously took home silver in the 2012 London Olympics before syncing up with Kerri.

Ross, along with Jennifer Kessy, was part of the American team Walsh Jennings and May-Treanor defeated in London for the gold.

Her father played minor league baseball and her mother was a talented volleyball player at Santa Clara University. “So that was a unique experience, and I loved it”. “I love my life and the fact that I can live in that space a lot”. She focuses on eating a healthy, balanced diet with vegetables, meat, and grains. She tries to eat a variety of healthy and tasty foods that give her the energy she needs for workouts and volleyball competitions. I have a lovely family. “She doesn’t ever want to leave the kids”, her husband, Casey Jennings, said in the video. “I’m very supported. At this point, I feel grateful and blessed”.
