On June 30, Booth picked up the teenage girl while working as an Uber driver.
An Uber driver was arrested by Everett police on a charge of rape and is now expected to appear in Malden District Court on Thursday. At about 11 p.m., Booth allegedly told the girl through Snapchat that he was outside of her home and asked her to come outside. On July 5, when the victim was late for the bus Booth reportedly offered through Snapchat to give her a ride. “I would suggest there are far more questions than answers”.
“The victim alleged Mr. Booth was flirting with her”, said Spiros, adding that after they parted ways, Booth began trying to contact her through Snapchat. The girl accepted and Booth picked up the girl to take her to her destination, during which time he allegedly drove her to a secluded location, parked the auto and raped her, prosecutors said.
An Uber driver was arrested Wednesday night in Everett, Massachusetts, and charged with rape, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office. He then took her to her destination.

Details of the case against Booth were not yet known. “Even with increased screening in place under the new law, it is critical that consumers continue to use caution when employing these services”.
