Uber to deliver kittens for playtime sessions on Thursday
But before you panic about what happens to the kitty after the bell strikes, the concept is totally animal friendly.

Pretty much any workday could be brightened by a few minutes of romping kittens, and the car-sharing company Uber is making it happen. Now nearly 50 cities across North America participate in the event which raises money for local animal shelters in each city. It costs $30 for 15 minutes of “snuggle time”, said Uber’s Laura Zapata. While there’s no word yet if your kitten delivery will come with an in-car dance party, cats are probably more than enough distraction for a single day. Hurley suggests you double-check with your boss, though, before you request a carful of kittens.
If all goes well, people can apply to adopt the kittens on the spot, Uber representatives stated.
Uber and local animal groups have a purr-fect opportunity.
The news has sent social media into overdrive, with one Twitter user writing: “This makes me explode with joy”. Drivers will deliver the kittens from LA/SPCA locations to users who request them for 15-minute sessions.
And if you enjoy the kitten kompany, the kittens are eligible for adoption!
This is the third year for UberKittens.

In case you were wondering what is up with the kittens, October 29 is National Cat Day.
