Uber will give you $2 if it makes you late

However, you might also reach the place well before the mentioned time sometimes as the app shows exact latest time. If you reach your destination any later, Uber will knock $2 off the price of your next UberPool trip.

Uber is trying to get rid of some of that uncertainty by giving an arrival time guarantee for Pool rides. The company further points out that its uberPool carpooling service is already a success, counting more than 100,000 riders each week.

Now you truly know if you can make your flight while saving some cash with a small addition to Uber’s service that will go a long way to satisfying consumers. If things are fine, just hit the “Request UberPool” and you are ready.

Though it’s only being rolled out in LA for now – worldwide capital of traffic jams – Uber says it will arrive in more markets soon.

To use the new “Arrive by” feature you’ll need to be running the latest version of the Uber app-it’s not clear if this includes the Windows 10 version.

Uber announced last month that riders can get an uberPOOL ride in Manhattan for during peak hours.

Uber said, “Because your app shows you the absolute latest time you’ll reach your destination, you will often arrive well before the estimate shown”. Even with the services in check, Uber has stated that they strongly believe that a majority of fares will arrive in the allocated time space. UberPool is now available in 13 cities in the United States including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.
