In other The Crew news, Ubisoft has brought developer Ivory Tower in house.

After years of working on The Crew with Ivory Tower, Ubisoft said they decided that the team’s expertise would be beneficial for the both of them. “By joining Ubisoft, the team will continue to benefit from Ubisoft’s infrastructure, support, tools, technology and vision”.

Ivory Tower came to life in 2007 when it was founded by ex-Eden Games members Ahmed Boukhefila, Stephane Beley, and Emmanuel Oualid.

Announced back in 2013, The Crew promised to be a spiritual successor to Test Drive Unlimited and Burnout Paradise, blending fast-paced racing with elements borrowed from massively multiplayer on-line role playing games (MMORPGs). It led him to create The Crew which is the company’s debut game. It will be available from November 17, although a closed beta will be available on PC later this month.

The first expansion titled “Wild Run” will be coming out this November with more assistance from Ubisoft Reflections. The Crew maker will continue to work on the franchise – in fact it is already hard at work on an expansion for the game. Those who will get the access will also have the privilege of all the PvE and PvP events.
